600 tiers miles short of Gold
Hi,
Just a quick question. At the end of this month, I will be short of 600 tier miles to be gold. Will emirates still give me gold or am I going to miss it?

It used to be written as per T&C's on the original skywards website when it still existed but as it has ceased to exist this text no longer exists either.

Thank you very much for your replies! I had this question in mind because I am 7000 miles short, and thought about buying a 100% saver ticket (=6000miles). But anyway, thanks for your answers!

I've got the answer now. I was 600 tier miles short to reach gold in April. They refused to give me gold. Here is the reply from Skywards:
"Dear Mr. xxxx,
Thank you for your email regarding your Skywards Gold tier status.
We appreciate your support of the Skywards programme.
Please be assured that we have reviewed your Skywards account and are unable to offer you the Skywards Gold status. Members are required to accrue 50,000 Tier Miles, to receive the Skywards Gold membership.
Thank you for giving us this opportunity to review your account status.
Yours sincerely,

Going to be 200 tier points short on our return from Europe. I'd be interested to hear from anyone if in fact they did get gold on being a few hundred short
