Dubai 'Do' 2014

As the year is getting on, and nobody has stepped forward, I thought I'd offer to start the ball rolling for a 2014 Dubai Do.

I'm thinking of the weekend of 31st July to August 3rd.

I'll post some details up on the Community Buzz forum in the next couple of days, and post the link here.

Let me know if these dates are not good for whatever reason. It's just after Ramadan finishes.

It will be the usual Friday brunch and whatever else sounds good at the time.

Cheers

I will endeavour to make it - pending my authority to travel is granted. At present, I am at the mercy of the US Government and am stuck in the Land of the Free . Long story. Wont bore you with the details...

If people want to do August we need a brunch with decent indoor space and somewhere different from the park Hyatt.

Bateaux dubai is another good idea but it's fairly civilised

Would have loved to join. But I'm relocating in June/July and won't be in the region and on EK anymore by end July

will be very close to the Eid weekend and the flights might be pretty rammed, doesn't worry us but might be an issue for those looking for reward flghts

flights will be very rammed and the taxi queues will be horrific.

I'm travelling back from BKK the weekend before but in J thankfully.

Perhaps a weekend a week later...?

Should the thread be in the Community forum with the other Do's? Non-emirates people might see it easier.
