Emirates F Availability
Any tips on Emirates F class availability? I've been looking for the past 30 days with not much success for some routes I want. I'm looking at December dates for flights and don't see much and it hasn't changed. Any advice on when they release tickets, etc? Also, I've found a few flights to different gateway cities in the US, but they only have 1 F ticket available. Will they typically release another F once that first F is taken?
Is F availability generally hard to come by? I'm using ExpertFlyer to monitor regularly and it generally doesn't seem to promising.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I assume you are looking for reward seats availability, correct? Yes, Emirates have supposedly been very stingy in releasing reward inventory lately.

Yes, I am talking about F availability. That thread was almost a year old since the last update, so I was curious if anything had changed since. Particularly if anyone has any experience in the 8 - 10 weeks before a flight with inventory opening up or at any other time.

I'm struggling for a leg in April (y to j) I've given up on it now and will use point for f. It's much easier to get j to f than y to j these days. Ek is holding onto d class and z class because they are selling them out. I've seen cases where there is j class seats but they don't open them up because they need them for op ups. I've stopped asking now. I know this is the case and more often than not get the op up for free. Great for golds and plats not so much for the rest with miles to burn....

I'll keep checking my Y-J upgrades. 2 sectors available (which are always full in Y, medium load in J), 2 sectors unavailable (which are always chocka in J and F, light load in Y; yesterday's flight had >100 empty in Y but 76/76 and 14/14). Makes sense.

They seem to have reduced the availability also. Even on the days where I can see Z bucket availability, there is only 1 seat available. That's a not starter when you are traveling with family.

My experience matches this. Was waitlisted for Y-J for several weeks. Never got it. Got an email offer for cash upgrade. Didn't respond. Op-up at checkin. I just don't understand why they don't take miles to make space in Y. It's so overbooked they send out cash upgrade offers, and then have to op-up the Plats/Golds anyway...

Which route was this? I have dxb kul and bkk dxb on the 380 this summer fingers crossed for j to f.

FWIW, you are more likely to find more than one seat on certain A380 routes and then in the last couple of weeks when more seats are released if inventory is available.

Especially because there were three parties with kids in F. Only one op-up, what I heard from the crew.ZRH-DXB, which are always premium cabin heavy.
