gva upgrades

I need to upgrade 2 pax on a GVA DXB flight and wow are they going out full in J and F.

Anyone got any experiences of being able to snag an upgrade on this route?

Only ever flew into GVA. Out of ZRH it's the same. Always chocka in J. Those wealthy Swiss! Got several op-ups out of ZRH as Gold in J.

I'm in J on the way out on 15 March (F looks like 1 left) but the way back Sat 22 is not looking so good either - still space but they seem to sell out. F is also booked out that day.

Should have just paid for J

I've just looked at the loads - J and F goes out full.

This must be one for the A380 upgauge or a double daily

I feel that way too. 8 sectors booked, 4 in and out of Zurich. Only 2 sectors available for upgrade, none on the ZRH sectors.

I've flown (and family members have flown) GVA a number of times. Between the swiss traveling on holiday (easter end of march?), switzerland loving south asians and gulfies, and private bankers making their rounds, it's a pretty full flight.

I have, however, been op-up'd a couple of times Y to J (Gold) as the Y cabin is especially full. So you never know day-of... but a D seat opening up may indeed by a pixie dust.
