My wife and myself took the chance of an other good offer to fly to BKK over new years eve.
From FRA-DXB we had the Boeing 777 with private suites configuration. Was great as previous flights (see my comments above).
Hence from DXB-BKK we booked flights on the Airbus 380.
First time we flew with a 380. It is an impressive plane. However, next time we will rather book flights on the 777 again. As it seems the walls of the private suites were lower than the one on the 777. In addition, when you like to stand up (on a window seat), you might hit the ceiling with your head (depending of the height of the person, but with 6'2" you will hit definitely).
Also the galley behind the row 4 is bothering and despite the curtains, there is always light shining into the cabins (at least the window seats).
So, we did enjoy the service of this flight, but will book the 777 in the future.

By the way, we did not use the bar at all (and I think, none of the other first class passanger neither.) Nice Marketing tool.
