EK survey
Has anyone else had an email asking them to answer three short questions?
They were something like...
1. What did you most like this year on ek?
2. What did you not like?
3. What could we do differently
Suffice to say price, skywards devaluation, upgrade availability and old hard product got panned!

My survey email said three questions, however they only asked me 2:
1. How likely are you to recommend airline to someone. between 1-10
2. What could we have done different
Then an abrupt thank you... was quite perplexing, and am wondering if there is some serious thoughts within emirates to actually look at this or some exec doing the equivalent of paper pushing.

< 5 - which was true based on everyone i have spoken to recently about air travel, general impression that price was too high. As most people i know pay for their own J travel and are not FF'ers. So price and decent business seat is all that drives them, schedules not so much.

Mine had two questions. Here they are along with my responses:
What did you like most about your experience?
The memories I have of the Skywards programme several years ago when it actually rewarded frequent flyers as opposed to now when it is but a shadow of its former self and does not influence my choice of whether to travel with EK or on one of its many competitors that I now travel with when possible.
What could we have done better?
Not devalued Skywards in the many ways that you have and tried to pass them off as "enhancements" rather you could have actually tried to genuinely improve the programme. Unless of course you are cynically seeking to punish frequent flyers on that basis of an assumption that a regular flyer with you probably has no choice of airline so they will not be able to go with another carrier and therefore they can be abused.
Just p*ssing in the wind but at least I had a chance to sound off.
