Platinum upgrade" voucher"

One of the listed benefits for Platinums is second upgrade voucher over 175k tier miles. Does anyone know how this works?

I'm assuming it will be electronic and will be posted to your account for you to redeem.

Was just browsing the member benefits. Noticed that the 'Opening Doors' benefit still continues to be an exclusively 'Gold' benefit

LOL... I just tried to log in to the "opening doors" website and got:

"Sorry, this offer is only for Gold members"

The first downgrade for being platinum!

Ahhh the first enhancement of the Platinum programme the day before it goes live ... I wonder if we will see the upgrade vouchers ever come back or if they have been enhanced away for good already?

They certainly did a quick and thorough job of removing any mention of the Upgrade Vouchers. Did anyone happen to keep screenshots - I wish I had as they would have been ones for the archives ...

On the US site. Not on the UK site or the Global site.

It was certainly on the UAE English language site this morning and there was also a description in the text too. They really are a slippery lot ...

I've just received an update from EK in Dubai. The Platinum upgrade voucher which was mentioned on the site earlier today was and is an error and will not be offered as a benefit.

The upgrade is still listed.... its just that the Skyward desk is clueless about this. I am travelling on April 2 and are not in a position to explain how this works..

That's a shame. It would've been a good benefit, especially because we would've been able to gift it to someone.
