Question EK or BA to SIN? Not sure.

Greetings!
This might be a bit premature, but this time next year I plan to book a return flight to SIN in Business Class. Currently it's a choice between BA or EK.
If it's with the former, then I'll go J class, LHR- HKG then Y with either SQ or CX to SIN. (I've done this route before, with SQ.)
If it's with the latter, then it'll be in J, BHX - DXB - SIN.
As I've never flown Emirates, I'd appreciate your views.

Thanks.

Any reason you won't be doing the direct BA flight LHR-SIN?

If you definitely aren't going direct, then I'd take EK. Anything to avoid LHR

Thanks for that.
As for HKG, I quite like the idea of a stopover there.

EK or BA to SIN? Not sure.

It depends what you value most. Is it friendly service in a pretty well kitted out plane or do you prefer indifferent service in a poorly kitted out plane with a pretty shoddy entertainment system? Vs a good run ashore in HK!

Mmm, I'm curious. Which service & planes are you referring to in the reply?

Haha! EK definitely has a much more pleasant service than BA in my experience. The planes are better kitted out too but HK is a good run ashore. So tricky choice!

You definitely won't be disappointed with EK. And Hong Kong is a great place to just hang about for some time, though comparatively down from its highs of the 90s.
