Emirates passenger Information page error

I am trying to add advanced passenger information on the Emirates website and it keeps giving me errors. I checked my information many times but not sure what is going on.

I called Emirates and they mentioned that they are not aware of any web issues and asked if I wanted to give them the information on the phone.

Are you aware of this?

Worked fine for me a few days ago. What browser are you using? If a non-mainstream one you might want to try IE.

I am using Google Chrome. I have also used IE8 and Firefox and they didn't work either. This is the message I am getting:

Sorry, we are unable to save the changes. Please check all information and try again.

Any ideas?

Sorry Phaker - I am bereft of further ideas except to clear your browser's caches ...

Welcome to FlyerTalk by the way! Stick around.

mrtdxb - thank you so much. I will try clearing my browser's cache. If that doesn't work, I guess I can do this over the phone. The idea of not having control feels so weird.

Why not just do it over the phone when you called originally? would have seemed to be the easiest solution

Zol, I have a 13 hour layover at DXB. So, I am entitled for a Hotel, Visa, Transport and one Food voucher. They said to reserve anything, they first need all the passenger information. I am planning on calling them today to get all these sorted.

I am just so confused to why I just can't use the web to add this information. I will find out.

Emirates passenger Information page error

Happened to me last night. Was using Chrome. Tried again today morning with IE9 - no success. Have few more days before I travel. Will try to call and figure it out.

BTW.. I am even unable to create a Emirates skywards account. Don't know what the glitch.

Got a new lappy with windows 8. Tried booking chauffeur drive And it wouldn't let me do it.
Had to go to my older laptop to sort it out.

Moreover there is a difference in the info on the ek mobile website and the normal desktop version .

as mentioned on the forum I have contacted EK and I have arranged for a chauffer pick up and dropoff during a brief stopover (18hrs) at DXB next week. I had to call them as the website wouldn't let me do this online. Its all sorted now.

Weird thing is that its now visible on the ek mobile website but not visible on the desktop version.

So, I called Emirates and they mentioned again that they are not aware of this. They did mention a lot of failed update logs on my PNR for that. The associate took a guess and said perhaps this is because my first flight is not EK. Not sure what that meant. In any case, she took care of the information over the phone.

later I was able to modify my information on that website using IE8. In any case, there is definitely a problem with that page and I hope they fix it.

There is another problem with the page. if you are not a Perm US resident you need to add Country of Residence on the UPI page. It does not have UNITED STATES in the drop down list. It goes from United Kingdom to United States minor outlying Islands. I use that to complete the page and get some funny questions sometimes! Is there anyway we can get EK to get rid of this realtively minor irritation?
