EK029 is usually the lightest especially in Y followed by EK5.

You're welcome to PM me if you need any updates
Anomalies do happen then! EK001 actually has the least number of F seats booked on Friday while EK007 is full up in F.

EK001 absolutely is the flagship departure flight for Dubai residents flying to London.
Although I have to say I am surprised that EK3 is busier than 1?

I was under the impression that EK1 was the best flight for connections from Australia/NZ/Asia rather than Dubai O&D passengers. In fact, we Dubai residents prefer to take 29/3/5 because of the more convenient timings. The 7:45am flight means waking up around 5am.
I used to take EK1 when it was the only scheduled A380 service to LHR! I prefer EK29 or EK5 depending on what time I want to leave Dubai. LHR Terminal 3 is relatively quiet during the arrival times (even fast track can have a long queue) and there is hardly any traffic to central London.

EK001 is busy due to overnight connections from Asia. I always take EK3 as its more convenient, 4/5 hours in the office then head to the airport. EK1 is pointless as you get to London at lunch time and then you are in the city by 2 at which point your day is almost over and you are tired from the 5am wakeup
