What time does the bar open?

Booked on the 09:10 flight LHR-DXB, in J on the A380.

I'm thinking of having a good breakfast in the lounge, and then ignoring the on board meal. Instead, and I'll take advantage of the bar area

Does the bar open as soon as the cruise is reached?

Cheers!

If the flight is out of MAN (ie EK18), you'll find people are heading to the bar as soon as wheels are up and the seat belt sign is out

I just flew EK3 from LHR to DXB and the bar was heaving - midflight. I thought I was at a pub in London on a Friday night!

Oh a recent journey one of the Emirates cabin crew said MAN is 'one of those flights where the booze is always flowing'

Which flight departs LHR at 09.10?

It's the EK008. And yes, I've sampled the bar already I once spent about 9 hours in there on a DXB-SYD flight.

I have been trotting up there as soon as the seat belt sign went off.
They will still be setting up with canapes/sandwiches etc but you should still be ok for a beverage.
All depends on the crew at the time though.
