Might change my choice of domestic carrier somewhat (routes not involving PIT). I tend to use Delta right now, come to think about it for no particular reason except that I already have miles with them.
In the end this is EK we are talking about. I'm sure they would have analyzed everything and more. They won't get into the partnership unless they could gain significantly.
Like eightblack said on the other thread - they might seem to be rushing into the US market, but if they stand idly by someone else would beat them.

EK already interlines with B6 and VX in the US. They are not onlyntalking to AA but another carrier, who was not mentioned in the arlicle. Interesting Clark took a snipe at *A and indirectly with LH. My guess of the other carrier is either DL or US.
