First class layout 777-200

I'm booked in F from Lisbon to Dubai on a 777-200.

Both Flyertalk and SeatGuru suggest that all the three-class 777-200s that Emirates fly have suites in first class.

However, on choosing my seat online, the Emirates website shows a 2-2-2 formation, which can't be suites.

Has anyone flown this type of plane or this route recently and can advise on what to expect?

That's the skycruiser seats. Some have called it, over-glorified business class seats. But they are my favourite non-suites F. They go flat, and if they provide the cushion beneath, you'll get very good sleep.

To add to what edy4eva correctly posted and to clarify, none of the 772 planes have suites. Also, the seatguru website states that you have "sleeper" seats, not suites.

The 10 x LRs have suites, but the ERs have Skycruisers.

Correct, I was referring to the 772 or 777-200 (non LR).

Sorry the hijack this thread but is J the 'deeply reclining' over lie-flats? Or depends on the plane? My aunt flew F DXB-LGW today and insisted that the J seats were the lie-flat type; I had previously thought all 772 J seats were deeply reclining.

Likely on EK11 (772ER A6-EMG, in three class config, sporting SkyCruiser in F, LieFlat in J). EK9 and EK15 were 773ER in 3 class config (Suites, LieFlat) today.

It is only the 772 (not ER, not LR) that sports the old seats in J and no First as they are 2 class config (3 planes).

Check out theeksource.com - seat maps shows the layouts, a/c-regs and codes for expertflyer
