The EK Onboard Drinks Thread

Ok, this is probably my favourite subject. We're going to keep this thread updated (or at least I will try). Please rate the current wines/champganes onboard and your favourites. I will attempt to keep this on-topic. Posting Under The Influence is recommended (PUI)

Yarra Yering Dry Red 2 - F Class (May 2012)

Not just because I am a Victorian, but this is an exceptional wine.

Dom Perignon - 2002

I much prefer this than the 2003. Not sure if it's still available but post back here if you find it.

Dom Perignon 2003

Not such a huge fan. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it, but my biggest gripe with EK and champagne is that it's never served cold enough! While I am not champagne expert, I do notice the difference between the 02 and 03.

Diet Coke vs Diet Pepsi.

One of my pet peeves is that crew consider the two drinks interchangeable. I request for a Diet Coke and I'm given a Diet Pepsi, and then the crewmember gets offended that I refuse the drink.

Diet Pepsi is NOT Diet Coke. If it was the same, then it would also be called Diet Coke.

Discuss.
