Funny situation
Hello,
I just booked a ticket at the end of July and Expert Flyer showed the following:
P4A4J7C7I7O7Y9E9R9W9M0B0U0K0H0Q0L0T0V0X0
When I went to purchase the ticket, the floor plan was 85% empty.
Can someone give me insights about this
Toronto-DXB 27th July.

What is funny?
Just because the seats are booked it a) doesn't mean its sold and b) July end is just under 4 months away so seats might not necessarily have been selected yet

I would interpret it as EK saying at this stage they are confident they will fill the Y cabin given its holiday season and so they are selling flex only in Y until they are proven wrong. It can be worth pricing up the O bucket ( discount business ) in these situations as the flex economy may not be that much cheaper.
