Flight Availability Help (DXB-GLA)
Hi everyone
Just signed up for ExpertFlyer and wanted some help.
I've enquired about the following flight and can see 0 availability for all classes. Im not sure how airlines operate in terms of tickets - is this a deliberate attempt by the airline to block the seats for x reason and tend to open them early or is this genuinely an oversold flight?
What are the chances I would be able to book a ticket on this flight? Should I gamble and wait till a few days before or divert to say Manchester.
Regarding classes J, Y, H, O etc... when booking with Emirates, how do you choose / see what class you've been allocated. I take it there is a dedicated class type for the 'saver' fares but in terms of the higher priced ones, how do you know which one is which class at the time of booking?
Thanks in advance.

I've just tried a dummy booking on the EK website and it'll let me book up to 9 seats in Y but none in J. F doesn't start until June.
Once you have booked you can tell the booking class from the codes on your eticket. Y, E, R and W are Flex. I don't know of any way to tell during the booking process.

I should have said "book up to 9 seats in Economy but none in Business"
