The seats are brilliant in J on the 380. The problem is with the number of seats(almost double that on the 777300ER!!!!!). There are too many of them. The quality of the service/attention from the crew suffers due to this.It might be fine with a very light load in J on the 380 but if J is full on the 380 , the crew do struggle a fair bit.

I was lucky enough to score my first ever 1st class upgrade a couple of weeks ago on the 380, DBX to LHR. I agree that the suite was wonderful, but i was absolutely shocked at the horrible service i recieved. The FA assigned to me, simply just didnt seem to care. Good thing i'm not too demanding! Very very dissapointing for an airline i appreciate so much.

The 380 business seat is reason enough for me. The service can be a bit more haphazard if it is packed but there is no way I'll take a 777 if its not the only thing on the route.

I fully agree. The two things that make it for me on the A380 over the 777 are:

1. The A and K seats on the 380 (especially row 23) offer levels of privacy that not other J seat on any other aircraft on the Emirates fleet can match.

2. The fully flat bed which really helps me catch up on my sleep on long haul flights. I usually end up getting a back ache on the 777 J.
