Operations @ DXB Report???

Hello all,

I have viewed this thread for a long time but now Im registered.

My first question,
If I remember right, there was a report on the day to day operations of Emirates at Dubai once on here made by a member. After searching and googleing though I cant find anything on it.

Can any one help?

Thanks,
Alex

Alex - firstly welcome to FT and to the EK Forum.

Can you provide some more detail on what you are looking for? I cant seem to recall anything about day to day operations at DXB. We've got EK staff who contribute regularly (in an unofficial capacity) on a range of topics (like the progress of the new terminal to fleet additions etc).

If you can give us some more specifics, then I am sure the EK regulars will be able to help.

Cheers

I recall what you talking about but I think it was about DXB and not specifically Emirates. I dont think it was written by a member but someone provided a link to someones thesis of sorts. Good luck.

IIRC ti was in a members signature and contained a analysis of EKs large peak time connection operations as well as rotational schedules for A388 and 77W.

I think this may be what you're looking for. It's entitled "Emirates At DXB - Ultimate Operational Analysis"

http://www.airliners.net/aviation-fo....main/4939112/

It's over a year old already but still very relevant and an interesting read.

I think this is the report to which the OP is referring:

http://www.airliners.net/aviation-fo....main/4939112/

I bookmarked it after reading some discussion on a couple of threads on here.

Some very insightful analysis; it would be interesting to see an update for 2012, particularly as the A380 fleet has grown
