Skywards members would have received an email by now. Book a flight and hotel by 27 Nov for travel up to 15 Jan and receive double base miles (no extra tier miles though).

This might be a good time to do the AKL run, which I've been meaning to do since forever. Though I suppose hotels would be crazy expensive over Xmas, and EK still won't let ne book a flex fare online.

I assume that by saying that the miles will be credited by 16th February 2012, They mean that the miles will be credited on 16th February 2012 based on what happened during previous offers.

Just received the email.
Seems a bit ambiguous. What if it's double the miles that you accrue from the hotel booking and not the base miles from your flight?

The T&Cs say double the base miles from your flight. Seems pretty clear to me. What I want to know is if it can be done booking just one night through EK.

If a single night does the trick then it's really worth it!

Otherwise with the Accor Supersale launching tomorrow, plus that most hotel chains won't give upgrades if booked through 3rd party sites, it may not be that worth it if its a long trip and the base miles are not that much.

I tried booking a hotel since I want to go from YYZ to CHC and it says Hotel not available.

I tried so many times in different cities and its not working.

Any advice?

Such a useless promotion because even though it offers hotels in Accra on the website, it won't permit online payment for itineraries starting or ending in Ghana.

I�m definately doing this for the PEK trip i�m about to book :-)

Yes! My miles haven�t been credited yet...

After spending ridiculous amounts of time on the phone with EK, they finally confirmed that the miles are "on their way"...
