DXB to JFK connection

DXB to JFK connection
My flight path is ISB -> DXB -> JFK
My flight arrives at DXB at 6 AM and the flight to JFK leaves at 8:30. (2.5 hrs difference)
I am assuming all the US immigration stuff will get taken care of at ISB so the 2.5 hrs would be more than enough to make the connection.
Or are 2.5 hrs not enough?
Im a Pakistani passport holder with US GC, if this makes any difference.
