Emirates fully booked
is it me or does every single emirates flight becomes fully booked all year round regardless of what time of year it is as every flight I take is full
also try to upgrade but I can't
the flight that I always take are
Glasgow-Dubai-Kuala lumpur-dubai-glasgow
glasgow-dubai-singapore-dubai-glasgow
can anyone tell me around middle of july next year and first week in August next year if any of these legs of flight are full or are any of them business class full
I also noticed that the glasgow-dubai flight beginning of the year-during winter timetable had ice digital widescreen but during summer timetable now only had standard ice, so whats going on there,
also try to upgrade but I can't

When you say it is "full", where did you get the info from?
The reason I am asking is that EK often blocks upgrade seats EVEN if seats are available in order to sell ($) them to those who are paying with hard dollars with it.
The other question we need to know is which segment you are referring to. Is it GLA - DXB (v.v.) or DXB - KUL/ SIN (v.v.) that you perceive as being full?

I can see availability on all dates in all classes (no F ex GLA) that I looked for in July and up to the date in August they are currently released until. Why do you think they are full?
I can also see upgrade availability on GLA-DXB on many dates although not on the return.
It's school holiday time when you're looking which will affect sales, but they won't be sold out this early.

Do you mean you find flights to be full when you fly, or that you're unable to book in advance because flights are showing as full?
The answer to the first is that EK manages inventory well and tries to sell every last seat, the answer to two is that they block inventory.
DXB/SIN on the 348/349 is usually very empty - even 25%!

With miles or op-up? And to J or to F? It's usually overbooked in Y but there are many Golds, so slim chance of an opup. F loads aren't that high, though sometimes the F cabin is the first to fill up. With miles, there's usually availability 3-4 days out, and then at less than 24 hours out.
