Emirates reducing frequency in the Middle East?

I was wondering how Emirates is doing on their intra-Middle East flights. They have not yet gone back to double daily to Cairo, and my AMM-DXB morning flight in June was cancelled, rescheduled to the evening flight (I was pleased to be in F on a 777 instead of 330, which means the nicer skycruiser seats).

EK957 (DXB-BEY) on Saturdays and Sundays are cancelled. Pretty damn annoying.
