Ticketing ex-CMB
Does anyone on the forum have experience ticketing out of CMB?
Looking at the 349 which flies in from SIN and then onwards to DXB, loads are 'strange'. Around the weekends, it is sold out for several weeks, completely, in Economy, with only a couple of seats in Business. All this according to EF and EK.com. Strangely though, the seat maps are quite empty, but this could just be a case of people not preselecting their seats.
What I'm wondering is whether loads are actually this high (the couple of times I've taken this flight in the opposite direction, it's been relatively empty), or whether EK is blocking inventory (but there is no availability for the coming week either). Or is this perhaps one of those markets where one needs to go through a TA, as very few people make bookings online? If so, TA recommendations would be appreciated.
