Question Bassinet Seats in First - Question

When I just tried to reserve seats online though the "manage bookings" option, I noticed that, in an 332, the entire front row is declared as "bassinet seats" (or at least one seat in each of the port, middle and starboard row). The reservation system refused to let me reserve one of those seats, so the only option (for two people who want to sit next to each other) was to reserve the seats between the aisles in row 2.

Also, I noticed that on a 388 and the 77W, the same holds true for all the available twin-suites in the middle row. As we'll be travelling as a couple, it would be nice to get two of the side-by-side suites instead of two window suites located behind each other.

Do you know whether (and when) they will release the bassinet seats (what the heck do they need 3 bassinet seats in F for?)? Is there any chance of getting those seats (as long as they aren't taken until then) during online check-in? Or will we have to deal with the check in desk?

There's plenty of middle eastern families that might require 3 bassinet seats in F, and perhaps a couple in J as well. Depends where the nanny is sitting.

Normally you'd be able to get seats together at check in. Bassinet seats aren't released for online check in as far as I'm aware, though you might have some luck calling them up to request seats.
