Price Adjustment?

Hello,

Does anyone know if Emirates does a price adjustment on flights from the US to Dubai? I took a look at the fare rules but did not fully understand.

Thanks

Oh. Well your only option is to refund the ticket and issue a new one. I did that in 2008 when the prices were falling every month. Refunded and reissued a ticket twice, saving about 30%.

That sort of credit is becomin rare (non-existent?) on US airlines now too....

Sorry to say I doubt very much that EK offers it.

Southwest actually refunded the couple of dollars difference the day after I'd booked, even though their reply to my email was that it could be used as credit for a future flight.

I never understood that US carriers' policy in the first place. None of the European airlines would ever refund you anything if fares come down (and rightfully so). For EK, I think the only option is to cancel and reissue.
