Rail & Fly in Germany
Small advice for all of you wanting to take advantage of the Rail & Fly ticket in Germany (usually very good deal - obviously if complementary, and even the prices mentioned at http://www.emirates.com/english/plan...rman_rail.aspx are quite good):
Something went wrong with my booking and I didn't get the railway ticket (should be issued automatically with the eTicket and given to you via PDF). When speaking to the hotline, they told me that they needed proof that I actually clicked the checkbox which says "give me the free railway ticket" in order to re-issue the ticket.
While this is a bit of a weird practice and in the end they somehow managed to do without, it might be a good idea to take a screenshot of that clicked box and keep it for the case it doesn't give you the ticket automatically. Especially since I once was told that my ticket was a special offer (way before the whole saver / flex thing) and therefore didn't include rail & fly.

Knowing what the R&F wholesale rates are from DB, I can understand why this is the case since they are selling to the public at a huge loss from what DB is charging them.
