Possible to check into 2 flights at same time?

I have an F ticket dxb-muscat ... i'm having some issues extending the date*

another trip of mine came up.. going from dxb-kul in J..

was thinking of burning the oman ticket.. and making use of the F lounge + bringing a friend to party.. so was going to check into both flights.. and use the F ticket to get into lounge.. while only flying out on the J ticket..

*in case anyone was wondering.. my international ticket has a final return to DEL on March 2nd.. EK reps on the phone would not allow me to extend the ticket.. saying that there are some restrictions.. and 3 month max from purchase date.. saying i need to go to a local ticketing center for more info.

not sure what'll happen.. not sure i even want to waste my time going to ticket agent.. but will definitely get my moneys worth in F lounge..

On a recent flight, after boarding, they announced that some pax had decided not to fly on that flight, and a short delay was due to their bags being offloaded. You could be that person.

I didn't mean about the bags. I meant that it seems very possible to check in and every thing and then just before boarding decide you don't want to fly. So it could work for you.

This thread is very interesting....hopefully you can use the F lounge..
please keep us posted on what happens.

Although, I personally dont agree on what you are attempting to do.
But, hey, you bought the tickets...and you are putting your money to use.

whats not to agree? i paid for a ticket that i will not be able to fly on. had i known there was a 3 month restriction i wouldn't have purchased the ticket..

sounds like ek makes out in the deal.. i get use of the lounge.. and leave a seat open on the plane.. seems more like a really expensive brunch to me.

Why don't you just refund the DXB - MCT - DXB instead of wasting the whole thing?

rules with arabian airpass.. i would get very little back. I believe you would lose $150 of the $170 for the refund. $20 per coupon isn't all that great.

i would prefer to make use of the lounge.. and attempt to drink + eat + gorge roman style.

definitely gorge. the amount of refund on air pass is ridiculous.

if i were in your shoes, i'd be somewhat upset about this max 3 month rule... so i'd get my money's worth. you could do the online check-in, but since EK probably has your skywards account attached to both of these itineraries, i wonder if the system will detect something when you check in for the second flight.

you should check in KUL flight first, just in case you have problems with the oman flight. you don't want to get stuck with the wrong one! i can just see it now... [EK agent] I'm sorry sir, you are already checked in with dxb-mus and I cannot reverse that.
