EK Baggage Woes

EK Baggage Woes
Does Business or First Priority Tag on EK Bags mean anything.
In the last 90 days I have taken 3 business class trips on EK .. HYD-JFK/SFO .. All 3 times, my bags were almost the last to arrive. There were a few other biz class passengers fuming about the same.
During yesterday's trip, I asked the check in agent at HYD if the baggage was tagged as Priority which she did, but still my bags were the almost last to arrive in SFO. This time the bag did not even come out with the rest of the priority bags that arrived 10 mins before my bag did.
Did anyone else face the same issue with EK ?. Where should I report this concern ?

Sorry to hear that. I have no problems with priority baggage arriving sooner rather than later. Perhaps you need to address this first with staff at HYD but given the bags are then transferred at DXB , they will say it is a fault at DXB. Get the ball rolling at your point of embarkation and take it from there.

Arrived into BKK a couple of weeks ago, and there was clearly a party of travelloers somehow attached to the Government or one of it's departments. All the First and business passengers took their place, but the ONLY bags to come out and very slowly at that were the ones for this party. Everyone of their 20 or so cases and boxes came out, were loaded onto 5 or so trolleys and then once they had left, the bags for the normal passengers came out, so they were obviously being sorted at the bottom of the carousel.
Caused a few grumbles and comments I can tell you !

That's unusual as I find EK to be one of the more reliable carriers for priority baggage (compared say to BA which genuinely does seem to be an out and out lottery). As fish said, if you have time when collecting you luggage, mention it to the handling agents at the airport and certainly escalate it if it doesn't get any better.

On the three recent flights i took in first, my bags were always in the first batch and in one case(pardon the pun) they were first and second.
Always came quickly too, have to say i was impressed.

It worked.. Informed the agent at the check in about the issue I had been facing and asked her to make sure that the bags are tagged as priority.
I arrived at HYD and my bags were in the first batch delivered.. 3rd bag on the belt.. Thanks emirates..
