What is "Matmid?"

As a non-Hebrew speaking Roman Catholic, I'm curious as to what "Matmid" translates as? I did a search, with no success.

A "matmid" is a person who is consistent (in his endeavors) or diligent.

Hence, the Matmid program is for those who consistently fly El Al.
