I've just read on airliners.net that LY is going to dedicate 4X-ECF for the GRU route. Why GRU? Is the GRU route so important that other LY 777 destinations get mostly the old 777s?
What do you think?

A. They have promised in all channels that the route to GRU will get a VOD plane.
B. The rest of the 777 fleet is not that old.
C. The inauguration flight to GRU was done on ECB ...

Yes, it is weird that the inauguration flight was operated with ECB lol
Anyway, I still don't get why they favour this route...
My guess is that they will put ECF on this route in the first weeks, and then, they will put any 777...
Anyway, all the 777s will get AVOD from October

They haven't kept their promise: yesterday's flight TLV-GRU wasn't operated with ECE/ECF: ECF was sent to LAX, and ECE came back today from JFK... The flight was operated with ECB
Good for me : I am willing to fly on this a/c when I go back to Israel
