Seat selection not working - Mac

Seat selection not working - Mac
We have award tickets from AA and called ElAl to get the El Al reservation number . The agent gave me the res number but would not do a seat selection over the phone and said it had to be done online or thru a travel agent.
Using the online "Update reservation" button it found the res, but only shows rows 10-22 for a 757 flight (supposedly in Y) and nothing clickable works, A javascript popup says "Place content here." but won't accept input. Closing the popup shows some seats occupied, some available, but clicking does nothing.
Same results with FF and Safari on Mac.
Has anyone else had this problem? How can I make seat reservations?

Thanks - they are welcome to contact me. There are repeated Javascript warnings and I can't reserve seats.
The telephone agent refused to make seat assignments (even though she was looking at the reservation) which I cannot understand at all. Was she mistaken?
