El Al are about to introduce a new service called "Home Check In" that will allow people to check bags from their homes 24 hours before the flight. The service will be offered by a private company for LY and will cost 49 USD per up to 4 pax in one address.
The company that does the service is run by a couple of Israeli celebrities - former Basketball player Nadav Henefeld (with history in Jim Calhoun UConn Huskies) and former Shin-Bet (Israel secret service) chief Shabtay Shavit.

The service is offered to EL AL passengers – individuals, families and groups.
Cost: A total of $49 for up to four passengers, and $5 for every additional passenger.
Cost for a group: $15 per passenger. Baggage pick-up for a group will be from an agreed upon spot – for 6 passengers and up.
Terms of payment: To pay for the service and for excess baggage, passengers should have credit cards or checks available.
The payment will be collected at the conclusion of the service.
Where do we go when we arrive at the terminal?
Upon arrival at the terminal you go to Passport Control, with your passport and the boarding pass that was given to you during the home check-in.
When do we have to arrive at the departure gate?
You should be at the departure gate no later than 55 minutes before the planned departure time of your flight.

The service is provided and managed by Shahar / Home Check-in, which bears full responsibility for it; EL AL bears no responsibility for the service.
The location, time and nature of the service are subject to change from time to time.
