More new features on the website

Ly has upgraded its booking system, now you can tick an option to see what the best prices are for flights 3 days before and after the dates you want.

I feel like they read my our posts here
They also added a link to the non interesting Sun d'or site (its only informative) and made the the option to go to the checkin and services pages more visible.

There is still a problem when you put in exacts dates, it doesnt give you the next best option if the dates you want are not available.
It would also be grat if it was possible to make award bookings.

BTW - If LY is reading this .... then what is happeing with the new Platinum Class seats?
Are they only going to be introduced in the new 777's coming this summer?
Why did they then invite s to the big event last year and keep our hopes up for nothing?
They lost me in the meantime on two flights to NY becaue they havent upgraded the seats yet.

Ok, now they also need to change the pics of the f/a with the old uniform. Those uniform in most of the pictures are over 5 years old.

No offence ly787, but as much as I would like to know the answer to this too, why post it here in a thread that is totally irrelevant?
Why not start a new one?

After I logged in to my account, I have received a message about this feature being available.

Of course, even when they try to do something right in the website, it doesnt totally work.

For one, you cannot book online from every city, its limited to about 20 cities or so.
The funny thing is that when you try to book an open jaw tickets, its only possible to book the return via cities that are listed as cities you can depart from.
So its not pssible to book ...
TLV - VIE/ZRH - TLV because ZRH is not one of the cities you can book a departure from.
You cant also technically book TLV - ZRH/ZRH - TLV.
The only departure cities you can book online are :
AMS, BCN, Berlin, BRU, CHI, FRA, JNB, LAX, LON, MAD, MRS, MIA, MXP, MUC, NYC, CDG, ROM, YYZ.

Yes, but that has always been the case.
Very stupid, limiting, and I would love someone at ElAl to explain the reason behind this.

I can now get a reasonable Points Report with Firefox on Mac so I'm now completely happy with the website.
