Do Silver members get KD for $150?
Does Silver membership allow you to join KD for $150 instead of $300?
Last week while I was still an SL, when I went into my KD account, it offered the renewal of my membership (which ends 31/10) for $150.
Now I have gone down to TL the renewal is $300.
I can’t seem to find anything on the website.
Anyone know anything about this?

Membership in the prestigious King David Club will be awarded if you have accumulated 1000 points or more in 12 consecutive months from El Al flights only (basic points only). Membership entails an annual fee of US$300. You can join the King David Club through El Al's Internet site www.elal.co.il and fill out the registration form using your Matmid membership number and your PIN code (UK residents can join the King David club via the local office only). When joining, you are offered the possibility of bringing in another member to the King David Club at a discount of 50% of the registration fee. For Gold and Platinum members, membership is complimentary for one year, as long as your membership card in the Gold or Platinum Tier is valid. Membership in the King David Club will be renewed automatically each year, as long as you maintain your Gold or Platinum status.
If you have dropped from Gold status, you may join the King David Club with a 50% discount during the first 12 consecutive months after the drop in status. In such cases, there is no need to meet the condition of accumulating 1000 points in one year.*
* Gold/Platinum members are entitled to bring in another member to the King David Club, who has not met the criterion of accumulating 1000 points during 12 consecutive months, in return for payment of the full registration fee of $300.

Thanks apirchik,
I am aware of the $150 discounted rate for the first year after dropping from Gold, but I had already used that, when I did drop from Gold!
Seems to me like the system lets you renew your membership for another year at the discounted rate, as long as you are still within the year of dropping from Gold, and even though you have already renewed it once for $150 already.
Then once the year is over, if you haven’t yet paid for the next year of KD membership, tough luck and you have to pay the full $300.
In short, it seems like you can get 2 years of KD membership at the discounted rate ($150 per year) as long as you pay for the second renewal while you are still within the year.
Does that make sense?
