TLV Arrival Covid Experience?
I am looking for anyone's experience if you are are an Israeli and have had your vaccine outside of Israel and/or for a foreign spouse that is married to an Israeli. Anything you can share about the COVID boarding, arrival , inbound testing at the airport and quarantine would be appreciated. I have read many conflicting directives from the government sites. Thank You!

I have experienced the latest regulations about 10 days ago, on arrival ex FRA. LH ground crew has thoroughly checked the PCR test and the self declaration for Israeli citizens. Arrival itself was very smooth, almost as usual, except at the end everyone is funneled into the mandatory PCR test , without which one cannot leave the terminal. All in all very smooth and efficient. Good work on IAA behalf.

After the check2fly on arrival if you have been vaccinated outside of israel then get antibody testing at one of the approved sites: https://chaimvchessed.com/wp-content...roved-Labs.pdf
Once you have the serological results Send that in to the following :
https://govforms.gov.il/mw/forms/[email protected]
They typically respond quite quickly and then your quarantine is cancelled

Good pointers in there on what was done to make it smoother/easier. Including about the serological test.

I stopped for the serological test on the way to where I was staying. About 120$ for the test.
Misrad Habriut does allow you to leave quarantine to get a test as long as you stay masked and dont use public transportation
there is a company that will come to the airport to do the testing (referenced above ) I have not used them

Indeed, Check2Fly. Please note it is best to create an appointment for about 15-30 minutes post scheduled arrival. The test is free - you will get a code to input for to not be charged - on the Check2fly website in the process of creating the appointment.

My relatives recently came to Israel after having been vaccinated overseas. They took an at-airport Covid test with Check2fly (free of charge) before exiting the terminal (representatives will approach you at baggage claim to get you set up). After leaving, they had a Serological test performed the following morning at Assuta (they made the appointment several days prior). The result came in the same day, and they were automatically released from isolation via text message. It was very smooth.

Ended up making an appt at Shamir Medical Center for 150 Shekels each the following day, since they will be closed when we land. Assuta wanted almost double the Shekels each.

Wife landed and was out of Ben Gurion airport after 40 minutes after collecting 2 suitcases and doing the pre-booked Covid-19 PCR test at the airport. She said everything was run very efficiently.

I arrived a month ago, after using the self passport machine, continued down the slope got the suitcases, and waited about 45 minutes in the tent thingy for the corona test. huge queue. Sounds like they expanded the testing area?

I flew a month ago too and experienced the same delay. I also flew last week and was extremely impressed by how well the line flowed. Didn't stand still for a moment and there must have been at least 500 passengers ahead of me. was through and tested in under 10 minutes.
