It's the time of year. It's not holidays in Israel, but neither is there any business to be done abroad, so both the business and the leisure sectors are very slack. Flight from abroad into Israel are likely to be very full though. By January the situation will look very different.

Not LY, but I was on UA85 on Sunday. Seemed to be about 20 open in J. Never seen that before - but makes for a very pleasant flight.
