Can't LY do anything right?

Where did you get that its 2-4-2?

Interesting, side note - I'm flying RJ in October and the TLV-AMM flight is on a 787. Seems crazy to me for such a short route but maybe they are using it for crew familiarization.

It's not that unusual and happens from time to time, probably based on load...
While very uncommon in Europe, in Asia for example it is far more common to have wide body jets on short-haul and even domestic flights.

I'm actually surprised that YYZ isn't the first designated route, given the competition. ;)

It's good utilization of the aircraft should passenger loads warrant. One short turn between a long one.

El Al Dreamliner first flight

Will anyone here be on the inaugural September 12 flight? I made a tentative refundable booking, but have to see if work allows for it...

BA's WTP is 2-3-2 on the Dreamliners too.

LY's configuration sounds very tight.

I believe it was already clarified above that El Al is also 2-3-2. 36" pitch, though, is a bit unfortunate. Would have much rather seen 37-38".

Ah ok, that's better, although I agree about the 36". That's a little disappointing and in fact, the same as what they currently offer in Economy Plus.

I'm 99% sure that's what appears in their marketing info...

EDIT: You were correct!
