LY and B6 Announce Codeshare

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/jetblu...medium=twitter

I wonder if B6 is putting their code on LY flights as well? The article only takes about LY code on B6 metal. And what about FF programs?

LY and B6 Announce Codeshare

That's how they plan on replacing AA, however many premium flyers will consider this a downgrade (myself included) as their flights (except LAX and SFO) only have one class

Oh, wow! There will be no more AA & LY relationship. It's time to let it go. I think American that they will be announced JFK-TLV & MIA-TLV.

In my case, it's an upgrade as B6 in Y is way better than AA, and if I'm traveling in J it's usually to SFO or LAX anyway.

You're right. Plus, there is live DirectTV in all seats, so the AVOD is better than on both AA and LY.

To LAX there is LY, and for me it's actually a downgrade since most of my flights to the US are to Florida (mostly MIA but sometimes MCO), or to LAX (however then I take the direct flight).

The fact that LY's US partner doesn't have business/first class, will, in my opinion, cause many flyers to prefer other airlines (unless LY will sell their tickets for cheaper prices than other US competitors), and that's a shame. I don't want to fly in coach after a long transatlantic flight, unless it's a one hour flight.

Even when my clients pay it is hard to justify paying $7000 to LAX on LY when BA and others are often half that so I'm assuming lax through NY will be similarly priced or I'll be back on BA or others.
