Wish I could be there, but today as it turns out is the only day this week I can't make it...
Perhaps if it were in the evening I could get there but not at 17:30.
Anyway, hope you guys have fun!

Had a good time. Will try to give me a more detailed report later, but it was nice to be able to meet some FTers in the "real" world. Had a good talk (along with a bunch of other FTers, namely NYTA and badatz) with Livnat from Matmid. She listened to our criticism, and for the most part, did not simply argue or apologize for LY. A lot of negative comparisons were made to UA (my primary airline) and DL (NYTA's current primary), and whether this will have any bearing at all remains to be seen. But definitely nice to have a real person there to speak to.

A fun time was had by all
...except perhaps for Liat, Livnat and a fellow from the EL AL PR department.
Thanks Yosi for putting this meet/do together. It was great to match faces to online handles. And I agree with Josh, Livnat seemed to hear us.

I am wondering whether any of you who attended the DO heard any of the EL AL people there express concern over EL AL's financial situation? Specifically, I would be interested in learning if anything was said about Q4 and end of year 2012 results.

Anyone have pics of the DO? Would be nice to see all of you.

You have to remember that these reps do not control the situation nor have much of a say in things. Even Shkedy does not have the same powers a CEO would normally have. The company is essentially controlled by the plethora of VP's held over from the state owned era. I am afraid that the only thing the EL AL reps could do is sit and listen and perhaps convey your suggestions to those in control.

Hi All,
Good meeting with everyone yesterday. Had a great follow up meeting with David this morning.
I think it was important to have the ELAL reps present. Indeed they listened and hopefully we will see change when the Matmid program becomes more independent.
Superfly is working closely with ELAL on bunch of initiatives. specifically helping them identify the gap between theirs and competing loyalty programs. Jopefully we can report back later this year with progress.
I personally got at the DO some valuable feedback about Superfly.
Thanks everyone! Looking forward to the next gathering.
Jonathan
