Name Change

I have an AA ticket to Israel LAX-ORD-CDG-TLV. My passport is under my new married name and my ticket is under my maiden name. My drivers license is still on my maiden name. So I should be OK to ORD just the problem is to CDG and the ELAL segment from CDG-TLV has me worried. I will bring my Old Passport and New Passport and my DL. Any suggestions?

Once heard from someone who traveled which her ticket was on her name name, and her passport was on her old name, they requested to see her Marriage Certificate.

You might want to check first and see if you can change the name on the ticket (based on your marriage certificate) rather than relying on the above story and then having a problem on the day of travel.

LY will change the ticket in advance for a $50 handling fee. it is more problematic to show up to the airport with an old name because of the TSA rules.

I would bring my marriage certificate and old passport. Even TSA understands that people DO get married.
