Are points converted from a CC supposed to expire?

Are points that I received 3 years ago via CC conversion supposed to expire after 3 years like regular flight points?

No, they are considered "extra" points and as such do not expire.

Actually they are "partner points" and don't expire. If you converted during a +20% points promotion, the 20% are "extra points" and expires after 3 years..

That is what Elal told me in regards to the 20% extra points. Didn't realize that.

My statement:

06/12/2009 Point ISR ISRACARD Partner 93
06/12/2009 Point 20% MORE POINTS CC VISA - ISR Extra 19

LY regulations:

Basic Points and Extra points accumulated from EL AL flights and not utilized within three years are no longer valid and will be erased from your account.
Points accumulated from partner companies are not limited in time

I would check that again, as LY specifically state that:
Basic Points and Extra points accumulated from EL AL flights and not utilized within three years are no longer valid and will be erased from your account.
Points accumulated from partner companies are not limited in time

No, they don't.

And I meant to say partner points, rather than extra points.

The Isracard Partner points do not expire. The "20% more points" do expire - as has happened to me and as confirmed by Elal.

Thanks to all those who responded here.
