Here is the link to the page on the ELAL website which states that it's allowed in TLV, but not in JFK, LHR, CDG.

I want to know, if I can access the KD lounge in TLV, when not flying LY, and taking in a guest that is flying with me?
I don't understand why LY can not state these things on their website.
Thanks

That ELAL page, quotes that I must have a LY ticket, [As of January 1, 2010, premium Class passengers, King David Club members, Gold, Platinum and Top Platinum members will enjoy hospitality in EL AL’s prestigious King David Lounges in New York, London and Paris only before their EL AL flights. Passengers must hold flight tickets with the LY code.and also does not mention about a guest.

It clearly states that the change is only for JFK, CDG, LHR, and not for TLV where it hasn't changed (meaning you can enter, and as always bring in a guest too.

I don't understand what the issue is?
As ELAL very clearly explained earlier, you can access the KD lounge in TLV (with a guest) even if not travelling with LY on the day.
But in the other KD lounges (i.e. LHR,CDG.JFK) you cannot do so.
And that is exactly what they say in that quote from the website too.

Not quite right... I was on LY27 to EWR, After landing i had 5 hours for my connection, Went to the checkin, showed my TPL Card, and got the invitation card to the lounge at the marriot... And i took a guest with me (that was flying ly28 back to israel the same day, but she was not even a TL)
As long as you pass thru EL-AL check-in and get the invitation they will let you in to the lounge, if you appear out of the blue in the lounge (if its a non EL-AL dedicated lounge), they wont let you in.
As for JFK/CDG, I have been into the lounge when flying with others as well (but that's not fair, They never asked to see my ticket! 8-))

2) Giving an invitation to a TPL dosen't mean that a GL will also get it (we now very well the powers of a TPL when it comes to lounge access
).
