4X-ELE interior

I heard that ELE kept the old SQ seats.

But this photo shows that the F class on ELE is not the same as SQ's:

SQ's old F seat is this one:

How is ELE Business class? Like this?

I am flying this a:C soon, I am curious!
Regards

Sacha

Hi,
On LY
The F on ELE is exactly - http://www.airliners.net/photo/El-Al...412/1646042/M/
The C on ELE is exactly - http://www.airliners.net/photo/Singa...f41b9e2c87f2e2

On SQ-
The 744 based F is http://www.airliners.net/photo/Singa...f41b9e2c87f2e2
The 77W based F is the "new first class" - Look online for pics
The 380 based F (or actaully these are called R) are the SQ suites - Look online for pics

Hope this helps
Best
Ysmisc

AFAIK they did not change the F cabin
This is a (very) old cabin even before the Sky Suites of SQ were introduced (i.e. the ones you see above in the 744 pics).

not sure: in 1999, the skysuites were already introduced:

LY did change the F class cabin actually. This aircraft did have the skysuites installed when it flew with SQ but LY put their own F seats (which look like many other airlines' C seats) in on delivery. I suspect that SQ did not want the skysuites flying around with another airline. Even though they are slightly outdated now, they are very much associated with SQ who are very touchy about maintaining their exclusive image. I guess they didn't care too much about leaving the spacebed in as this seat design is already flying with other carriers e.g. UA on their P.S. flights.

LY did NOT put their own seats in! They put some other seats (which may or may not have been from SQ) which are actually better than the 'new' LY seats.

I actually just flew on the ELE a few hours ago (JFK-TLV) in C and I think its better (upstairs cabin) than the 777 in many ways (seat, privacy, storage space) but the main problem is its old so I've ran into many problems with the seats, IFE etc.. it is pretty annoying when it happens but if everything is fine you'll enjoy the flight.

Upstairs cabin in C class has row 80 as opposed to other LY 747 which do not.

Yes but at least the seats are rather new (although they are bad) so they tend to have less malfunctions..

Hi all,
As is said above - Both the F and C seats on ELE are not the new C and F seats that LY installed on the other 777/744 planes.
I only flew C on ELE and in my opinion it is much better than the new C of LY - Just more comfortable even though it is very old.
best
Ysmisc.
