Using points to upgrade via site?

Suppose I want to book an economy ticket via the site and then use my points to upgrade that ticket to business. How does one go about doing that? I do not want to buy the ticket with points (which I know how to do), I want to buy the economy ticket with money and upgrade with points.

Once ticketed online, via travel agent or any other way, call Matmid and ask to upgrade by points. It is a standard procedure. What is the question?

They will charge $10 per call in the future and something like this should be allowed via the site.

Just call Elal and ask them to do the booking and give you the 20%
points that you had to get from doing the reservation via the website.
Maybe the new CEO will take a new comapny to build a new and
modern website.

I vote for Shkedi.

If this is about the $10 charge, why start a new thread? - there is an active one about it...

The charge is for doing on the phone all the things you can do online. They will not charge you for things you cannot do online.

According to the IT Development manager, in 2-3 months the site will have this capability (using points to upgrade when booking).

Until then you wont be charged for doing the process via the agent or the call center.
