Responding to public concern about the impact of flying on climate change, easyJets Chief Executive, Ray Webster, has stated that such concerns are legitimate and that the budget airline would welcome entering into dialogue with green campaigners regarding the issue. He has added that he would not object to a fuel tax linked to carbon emissions being imposed as long as it was fair and would not price the industry out of existence.
