An aggressive name-and-shame advertising campaign designed to lure business passengers from rivals to budget airline easyJet has provoked outrage among the the companies it was targeting.
EasyJet boss Stelios Haji-Iannou described directors of Marconi, Cadbury Schweppes and Total Fina Elf as 'fat cats' for using scheduled airlines rather than cut-price carriers, accusing them of wasting shareholders' money.
