This is interesting and helpful.
A family member just experienced a delay on U2 8580 Easyjet from BCN-LGW.
I know the delay compensation cutoff time is 2hrs for this length of flight: “If your flight covers a distance of under 1,500km (930 miles), you’re entitled to 250 Euro compensation if you’re delayed by at least two hours”
I asked him what time the doors of the plane opened but he doesn’t have a record — he does remember there was a problem with the steps which delayed matters and he got through immigration at LGW at 2am.
Flighty app shows the following details. Any way of finding out the door opening time, which I know is what’s relevant for EC/UK261 compensation here?

This seems like a real uphill battle if the airline's records reflect an arrival within two hours of the scheduled time -- especially without any evidence to the contrary. It doesn't hurt to submit a claim but what will you do if/when they summarily deny it?
