Easyjet Flight Last Friday

Last Friday, August 15th, this Easyjet flight left Geneva for Luton. Ten minutes into the flight, the pilots encountered hail and returned immediately to GVA.

Had some colleagues from IATA on this flight. Thought the forum might be interested in the pictures

Unbelievable pictures, can't imagine cost of repairs. How many other flights encountered similar damage?

That's some serious damage!

Well, that's what you get for flying on a discount airline!

I doubt that a LH 737 would look any better after flying through a similar hail storm...

Crew and passengers are very fortunate, I'm suprised the turbines/fans didn't choke up with the hail.
