Wifi on EasyJet?

This is a random question - does EasyJet have WiFi for customers onboard flights? (E.g. to surf internet and send emails from my WiFi enabled phone?)

I cant find any info about it online, but I have an acquaintance who was claiming to be in transit at a time when they were sending WhatsApp messages from their phone... none of it is making sense.

If they were in transit they weren't on a flight.

To be more specific, they (one of my employees) told me they were landing at lunchtime (the phrase in transit was mine and slightly misplaced) and would therefore not be coming into work.

Said employee was sending WhatsApp messages between 11:30am and 2pm, and the only flight data for their route shows a flight that arrived before 11:30am having landed at 9:15am.

Whatever the reason for the inconsistency, it seems that onboard WiFi is not an explanation....

Or they were very naughty and used their phone before landing.

If travelling for work, would the employee not have to submit the ticket invoice for expenses ? If you are the sign off authority for his expenses, then you would get to see his expense report and probe it further at that point.
