Thumbs up Easyjet!
I often fly lowcost airlines around Europe, mostly Ryanair and I was pleasantly surprised at the way that I was treated with Easyjet on my last couple of flights with them last week:
NTE - TLS: I tried checking in online but missed the time frame (tried checking in under 2 hours before the flight), arrived at the airport under 1 hour before take off, and went to check in, no queue, and they checked me in and I got a emergency exit seat at no extra charge and the middle seat was unoccupied (the flight was quite full, only a few front row seats and emergency exit seats were left).
TLS - LGW: I finished my meeting early and it was near the airport, so I decided to go to the ticket counter and see if I could get an earlier flight to London, 2-3 clicks later they said no problem, and changed my flight for free, I checked in online a bit later and also got an emergency exit seat.
I was unaware of the possibility to do this, and these are the conditions from their Internet site:
I don't quite understand how I fulfilled the part in bold though having booked an open jaw flight.
Given the fact that I bought my tickets a few days before flying, and they were still cheap, I was impressed!

If you arrive at the airport early and wish to transfer to an earlier flight we can offer you a free of charge transfer on the same day subject to flight availability. You must have already made an outbound flight with us on the same booking and be returning to the original point of departure from the original destination in that booking. The free transfer can be made at the easyJet airport sales desk only.
For additional convenience if you are travelling to one of the following cities, London, Milan or Paris, where we serve more than one airport, you will be able to transfer to another airport serving that same city.
